While some folks were shoveling snow in December, we enjoyed temperatures
in the 60s and 70s and several great sails.
Deanna's mother and stepdad joined us for Christmas on the coast. We
couldn't have ordered a better day for sailing than the day after Christmas.
With temperatures in the upper 70s and winds from the southeast at 10-15
knots, we headed over to Ingleside. Caribbean Soul had two firsts.
As we left the marina, a dolphin swam alongside us (we had crossed paths
with dolphin before, but this was the first time one swam with the boat).
On the return trip, Deanna's stepdad got out his guitar and serenaded
us with Christmas carols and country music.
